Universal way of setting up SCD of for any target?

Is there a universal way/design pattern for setting up all types of SCD (Slowly Changing Dimension) regardless of the Target/Datawarehouse Destination.

I came across some resources on SCD but it seems to be Snowflake specific,
so I’m wondering if there’s a generic solution to implement SCD for a cross SQL platform scenario.

Hi @Tarek.Demiati, there is currently no OOTB functionality for SCD in Rivery. We do offer a Kit for this, which indeed was built specifically for Snowflake.

We are consistently rolling out new kits, if you have a specific use case for SCD to another target, we would be happy to chat about what it would take to build a kit solution for it.

For the purpose of configuring all varieties of Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), there isn’t a universal out-of-the-box feature that is independent of the data warehouse destination. For Snowflake, Rivery provides a kit; however, customised solutions are required for other systems. The crew is willing to talk about particular requirements in order to perhaps create unique kits for more targets.
