What is AWS PrivateLink?
PrivateLink is an AWS service that allows for direct connection between VPCs, even if they reside in separate AWS accounts.
AWS PrivateLink enables a higher level of security, as traffic doesn’t traverse the internet.
In each use of PrivateLink there is a provider and a consumer of the service. The provider is the account that will expose resources for the consumer to consume. Only consumers can access providers - it’s a unidirectional link.
