This will show you had to privatize keys in Action Rivers. This is important if you’re using API Keys/Tokens or Passwords in your Parameters/Headers.
There are 2 main ways to do this:
1. Through the Connection:
To do this you’ll want to set up the key in the Connection.
Once a new connection is selected, it’ll give you the option to add Keys and Values to your connection. The checkbox labeled ‘is Password’ will encrypt your password.
2. Through Action Variables
Variables can be created by selecting the Variables link on the upper right hand of an Action River.
From here you can create any variable and choose to store it as Private.
Then use the chosen variable name in your configuration. This can be used in the URL, Parameters, Header, or Body.
