You may encounter this error when connecting to Gmail using the “Gmail OAuth2” Credentials Type since company settings may occasionally prevent the addition of third-party apps without explicitly allowing them.
At this current time, there are two workarounds depending on the Gmail account type:
1. Workspace Email
2. Personal Gmail
-
Workspace Email
These settings are configurable by your Google Workspace account Administrator. If you are the administrator of your Google Workspace account, follow the steps below. Otherwise, send this article to your Google Workspace administrator so they can follow the steps for you.
-
Click “Manage Third Party App Access”.
-
Simply click “Add app” and then select “OAuth App Name Or Client ID”.
-
Use the following Client ID for Rivery:
934654080921-3if83vsmral3pp3gcrdoh5s74n6agihe.apps.googleusercontent.com
and click on “Search”.
- Select the Rivery App:
- Select the option “Trusted: can access all Google services” and click on “configure”.
- Go back to Gmail and refresh the page. You should be able to connect successfully to the Rivery account.

Personal Email
