TikTok V1.2 Upgrade Updates

Background:

TikTok’s announcement:
“On July 29th, 2021, V1 and V1.1 of the TikTok Marketing API were deprecated. If making calls to old API versions, the API calls will now fail. If you have not already, please update to V1.2 as soon as possible to avoid interruptions in your service. For migration information please see here.

“We will deprecate the old reporting interface in a future version of the Marketing API. Please migrate to the new reporting interface as soon as possible. The deprecation timeline of the old reporting interfaces has not been determined yet, but after confirmation, developers will have 90 days to update.”

The Auction Ads Report:

In order to correspond to TikTok’s Marketing API changes, a new report had been added to the UI -” Auction Ads Report”

Affected reports (will be deprecated) and their new report reference:

Advertisers Report → Auction Ads Report, Report Type: Basic, Data Level: Advertiser

Campaigns Report→ Auction Ads Report, Report Type: Basic, Data Level: Campaign

Adgroups Report→ Auction Ads Report, Report Type: Basic, Data Level: Adgroup

Ads Report→ Auction Ads Report, Report Type: Basic, Data Level: Ad

Campaign Audience Data→ Auction Ads Report, Report Type: Audience, Data Level: Campaign

Ad Group Audience Data→ Auction Ads Report, Report Type: Audience, Data Level: Adgroup

Ad Audience Data→ Auction Ads Report, Report Type: Audience, Data Level: Ad

We highly recommend our TikTok users perform this report transition before the 90 days period is over, to avoid inconvenience and data gaps.
